ABOUT

Aligned Contracting is owned and run by Matt & Kate Barger out of the Northland, serving the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line.

I've spent 8+ years in the roofing trade and have held a Class D roofing contractor's license since 2019 — the LLC is new, the experience isn't. Most of that time has been split between inspecting, projecting managing and working claims, which is a combination you don't often get in one contractor. I know what belongs on a roof, and I know how it gets documented so it actually gets paid for.

Why "Aligned."

In construction, alignment is the whole job — plumb, level, square. Nothing built out of alignment stays standing. That's also how we try to run things: aligned with the homeowner, with the crew, and with our word. The mark on our logo is a plumb bob hanging inside an A-frame level — the oldest leveling tool there is, and the same image behind the line in Amos 7:7, where the Lord stands on a wall with a plumb line in His hand.

That's the standard. It's a high one and we don't always hit it perfectly, but it's what we measure against.

Licensed · Insured · Local

Every crew on your property carries their own insurance and provides a certificate before they start. We're not the cheapest bid and we're not trying to be.
